Privacy

I do not collect personal information. There is no account, no sign-in, no advertising and nothing to buy. I wrote this page to say plainly what the app does and does not do, on every platform it runs on.

What stays on your device

The app saves your settings and your play on the device you play on: which card back and deck colors you chose, your favourite games, the games you played recently, saved games, and your own history and statistics. On the web that lives in your browser’s own storage. In the apps it lives in the app’s own storage. None of it is sent to me, and clearing your browser data or deleting the app removes it.

What I never ask for

I do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, birthday, contacts, photos, location or payment details. The app never requests them, so I never have them. Players at an online table are shown as “Player 2” and “Seat 3”, never by a name you typed.

Playing with other people

When you create or join a table, the app connects to a relay so the players at that table can see each other’s moves. What travels through it is the game itself: the cards played, the bids, the turns, and a short room code. The code is a random string that exists only while the table does. I do not store the contents of your games.

Server logs

The website and the relay are ordinary internet services and keep the ordinary records that internet services keep: the address a request came from, what was requested, and when. Those records exist to keep the service running and secure. They are not combined with anything else, not sold, and not used to build a profile of you.

No tracking

I put no analytics package in this app or on this site. No advertising identifiers, no third-party trackers, no cookies for tracking, no fingerprinting, and no data broker of any kind. I do not know who you are, and that is deliberate.

Stores and platforms

If you install the app through Apple’s App Store or Google Play, those companies handle the download and any account you have with them under their own privacy policies. I receive no personal information from them.

Children

These are card games, suitable for anyone. Because I collect no personal information from anybody, I collect none from children either.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the date at the top changes with it, and I will describe the change here rather than quietly slip it in.
